WALKING IN YOUR PURPOSE

“You Were Created With Intention”

Scripture:
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” — Ephesians 2:10

There is something powerful about knowing that your life has purpose.

You are not here by accident.

Your experiences, gifts, lessons, relationships, opportunities, and even some of your difficult seasons can become part of the story God is writing through your life.

But discovering purpose is not always easy.

Sometimes we compare ourselves to others.

We wonder why someone else’s life seems to be moving faster.

We question why their opportunities seem bigger.

We wonder whether we have missed our moment.

The Deeper Lesson

Your purpose is not someone else’s assignment.

Comparison can make us overlook what God has already placed in our hands.

Moses had a staff.

David had a sling.

The disciples had different gifts and backgrounds.

God does not require us to become someone else before He can use us.

He asks us to become willing.

Purpose is often revealed through obedience.

You may not see the entire picture. You may only see the next step.

Take it anyway.

Sometimes God gives us the destination but not the complete map.

Purpose Requires Preparation

Your current season may be preparing you for something you have not yet seen.

The waiting season can develop patience.

The difficult season can develop strength.

The disappointing season can develop wisdom.

The serving season can develop humility.

The hidden season can develop character.

Don’t despise the season you are in simply because it does not look like the season you want.

God can use where you are to prepare you for where you are going.

Ask Yourself

  • What gifts has God placed within me?
  • What experiences have shaped who I am becoming?
  • What opportunities keep appearing in front of me?
  • Am I comparing my journey to someone else’s?
  • What is the next faithful step God may be asking me to take?

Prayer

Lord, help me recognize the gifts, opportunities, and experiences You have placed within my life. Remove comparison and insecurity from my heart. Give me courage to walk in the purpose You have designed for me. Even when I cannot see the entire path, help me trust You enough to take the next step. Use my life for Your glory. Amen.
