To God Be the Glory

I want to give thanks and praise to my Heavenly Father for allowing me to receive my Master’s Degree in Divinity with a concentration in Marketplace Ministry. What makes this journey so amazing is that it all started with a whisper from God.

I can remember one morning when God whispered the word “divinity” into my ear. At the time, I was confused and did not fully understand what it meant or what He wanted me to do. Yet, in obedience to His voice, I enrolled at Regent University to pursue my Master’s Degree in Divinity.

Ironically, I had just completed my Master’s Degree in Journalism only a few weeks earlier. Going back to school was not in my plans at all, but God always has the final say. His plans are greater than our own.

This journey was filled with good days, long nights, frustrating moments, and challenging seasons. There were times when I felt overwhelmed, but through every assignment, every deadline, and every obstacle, God strengthened me and reminded me that He had already equipped me for the journey ahead.

Today, I stand grateful, humbled, and amazed by His faithfulness. I look forward to seeing how God will use this degree for His glory and for the advancement of His Kingdom in the marketplace and beyond.

I am because of Him. To God be all the glory.
